Mazda first rolled out the Signature trim with the new CX-9 crossover and the trim's intentions transfer to the 6. For the 6 sedan, well-crafted materials are awash throughout the cabin. They include Japanese Sen wood, nappa leather, and synthetic suede on the door pockets, seats, and dashboard.
All Mazda 6 sedans benefit from redesigned front seats, which the brand said are wider and absorb more vibration. Available options include an 8.0-inch touchscreen display, a 7.0-inch digital reconfigurable gauge cluster, a windshield wiper de-icer, and a head-up display.

Patent Hints Mazda is Working on a Laser-Ignition Engine
A new patent filing from Mazda suggests that the company is working to replace the spark plugs in its engines with lasers.
The Japanese automaker has filed a patent with the World Intellectual Property Organization for a control device that works with a laser-ignition engine, confirming that Mazda is working with laser ignition and hinting that it may end up in its cars in the future.
One of the issues with laser ignition of the fuel/air mixture in a cylinder is that the laser has the potential to get blocked by contaminates, lowering its potency once it reaches the mixture. This newly patented control device is able to detect contamination and then adjust a number of variables, including laser strength and fuel/air mixture levels to make sure the engine is running at a desired output.
Using laser ignition over spark plugs will lead to more efficient engines, as high compression ratios can be used in the cylinder without the need for increased voltage. This high voltage used in high compression engines also leads to spark plugs wearing out much faster, an issue that won?t affect a laser setup.
Mazda?s SkyActiv suite of fuel saving technologies includes high compression ratios in its small engines, which means they are good candidates for laser ignition.

New Mazda CX-4 Crossover Spotted Completely Undisguised in China
The newest member to the Mazda crossover family has been caught on camera in China.
Essentially the production version of the Koeru concept that debuted at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, the crossover is expected to sport the CX-4 nameplate when it arrives. The production model is a toned-down version of the concept, which is to be expected. The overall dimensions and shape, however, have been retained, with less aggressive fenders and much smaller wheels than the concept?s 21-inch rollers.
More importantly, the CX-4 gives us some insight into how the Koeru?s design language will look like in production cars.
Inside, expect the CX-4 to be heavily inspired by the new Mazda CX-9 that debuted at the 2015 L.A. Auto Show.
The CX-4 will slot between the subcompact CX-3 and the midsized CX-5. Like the CX-3, it will be a sporty crossover, but it will be more practical with more interior and cargo space. It will likely be powered by the same 2.0-liter SkyActiv engine found in the CX-5 as well as a 1.5-liter diesel offering borrowed from the CX-3.

Touring je naziv za nivo opreme v ZDA (najni?ja je Sport, srednja Touring in najvi?ja Grand Touring (GT)), vse pa so zaenkrat le v sedan izvedbi in z 2.5L bencinskim motorjem.

Tisto foro s kondenzatorjem so ?e zdavnaj po?timali in ni ve? zastojev zaradi tega.
Druga?e je pa julijska po?iljka Mazd za Evropo prispela v Antwerpen v petek 12.07. in je do zadnjega petka (19.07.) ?e vedno bila tam v pristani??u.
Kaj ?akajo tam ne vem, rabijo pa potem ?e cca. 10 dni, da jo prepeljejo k nam (Nem?ija>Avstrija>Slovenija)... Torej v za?etku avgusta.
?e tole, povpra?evanje po novi ?estki je nenormalno veliko in zato zelo te?ko dobavljajo zadostne koli?ine. V Ameriki tega modela ve? ne proizvajajo, kot so Mk II in gre tudi za tisti trg vse z japonske...

Mazda will cut ties with Ford and cease production of vehicles in the U.S. around 2013, relying instead on its manufacturing facilities in Japan and Mexico.
The automaker is reportedly looking to end its joint venture with Ford Motor Co., as it looks to make major changes in its production system. Currently both Mazda and Ford own equal shares of the AutoAlliance International joint venture and this shift would see Mazda sell off its shares to Ford, which would then take over full control of the Michigan assembly plant.
Mazda currently builds the Mazda6 mid-size sedan at the facility, but low sales of the model have made it a loss-maker. Mazda will continue to build the 6 at the facility until around 2013 when it will introduce a new version that will be built at the company’s plant in Yamaguchi.
