Bernie Ecclestone has admitted Formula One must for now live with its current set of rules. After the processional Bahrain grand prix, there has been widespread criticism of the current rulebook and calls for immediate changes.
Ecclestone has proposed that external engineers in future pen the regulations, and is also pushing again his controversial proposal for circuit 'short cuts'.
"Some might wonder why the teams have options on tyres at all," he said. "Maybe if we only gave them a soft compound they would have to stop twice but I am not sure that they will vote unanimously for the mandatory two-stop race which Red Bull proposed.
"It is basically the same problem we have had for the last few years about downforce and cars not being able to get close to the one in front to create more overtaking. The teams know this but they won't do anything about it because each team looks after its own interests, trying to win."
Reinstating refuelling is also now impractical due to the designs of the 2010 cars, leading Ecclestone to admit that the rules for now are set in stone.
"We cannot change the rules. It would take far too long and it's too difficult. F1 is now a democracy. And all the teams voted for these rules, so now they must also deal with them."

Imam dodatno parkiri??a, steklo pa to?o. Toj je to... to?o so podra?il ko prasci.
Predlani mi je nara?unla da ?e bi hotu polni kasko bi blo cca. 1900? vse skupi.
Zjebal mi je bonus, ko sem bil predlani zadnji v veri?nem, namesto da bi bil pri enih 35% popusta, sem ?tartal skoraj od za?etka.
jaz imam totalni kasko (superkasko)..... :ne vem: mam pa 55% bonusa, mogo?e ti ?e vedno vle?e vrednost avta ??? - eto
Sem pa sam opazil ob selitvi v Kranj da je AS Kranj neprimerno cenejsi od AS Ljubljana....teta rekla da so to lo?ene enote s svojimi tarifami.... :ne vem:

?e kar malo pateti?no, da med dirko spoznava progo in luknje in po krogu in pol po dveh minutah voznje ima ze pol minute zaostanka!!!...
Karun Chandhok apologised to his HRT team after his debut grand prix in Bahrain lasted a little over two-and-a-half minutes.
Chandhok, who was only signed up on the eve of the season and largely because of a reported US$5 million he brought to the team, was unable to practice on Friday and had limited time on the track in a car he had never driven before on the Saturday. After a handful of painfully slow laps in qualifying, he started the race at the back of the grid and was already 31 seconds off the pace when his car hit a bump and crashed into a barrier.
"Sorry, but this was my fifth lap on this track," he said afterwards. "I hit a bump in the new part of the circuit. I was not that much experienced in that part of the track as I had driven only four timed laps over the weekend.

Jaz pa ze ene par let hodim v Sveti Filip i Jakov, cca 5 km od Biograda na moru. Izredno lepo mestece, sama ravnina in se clovek lahko sprehaja par km v katerokoli smer, prijazen gazda..... itak da stalno lepo vreme... se splaca kaksno urico dlje na jug peljat, kot pa cepeti zaradi dezja v sobah.
za velko no? gremo v Biograd, ptem pa glavna sezona Rovinj - kjer se mamo mega v kempu, po sezoni pa ce bo se kej ?oldov mal po Italiji.
Severno Evropo pa vidim prepogosto....
Smo pa s kolegi posezonsko za novembrske po?itnice iz Benetk ve?krat usekali z nizkocenovci:

After all the pre-season expectation, the press wasted no time in slamming the new regulations which reduced the Bahrain Grand Prix to something of a procession.
Drivers and insiders are blaming the refuelling ban, with most cars adopting similar race strategies at the Sakhir circuit and then being unable to follow their rivals closely enough to overtake.
Red Bull's Mark Webber blamed the rule makers, asking scathingly: "Why do they keep dicking with it?" The Daily Telegraph's Kevin Garside agreed, arguing that Bahrain was a "warning of the dangers of tinkering beyond repair".
The Sun predictably slammed the 'Bore-rain GP', with the Daily Mail adding: "The FIA and teams must look at the problem urgently and see what can be tweaked. The sport is in danger of missing out on its greatest bonanza. There are four champions on the grid, all in competitive cars. The racing should be sparkling rather than as dry as the desert."
The most scathing criticism was in the Times
The foreign press was less vociferous in its condemnation, but even Italy's La Gazzetta dello Sport - delighted with the Ferrari one-two - had to mention the lack of fizz. "Looking at it objectively, this new and highly anticipated F1 produced a rather boring race, with very few passes and most of the field bunched at the back. But Sakhir is an odd track. We'll see how the season unfolds."
France's L'Equipe said it was "unanimous" that Bahrain "was deadly dull", while Auto Hebdo insisted it is "too early to say" the new rules have failed, "but the lack of excitement did not go unnoticed".
Germany's Bild quoted Adrian Sutil's father Jorge as saying: "Next time I will take with me something to read."
Michael Schumacher and race winner Fernando Alonso predicted more of the same in 2010, and reigning world champion Jenson Button played down Alain Prost's claim that the new generation will adjust to the formula that was last in place 17 years ago.
"It's not like the old days," Button said. "We have so much more downforce. You could follow cars [back] then. You could slide up the inside. You could race. It's very different now."

Ampak Jures a ti osebno drugace vozis, ce vidis pred sabo nekoga s to nalepko? Sicer manj problematicni so tisti zadaj, veliko bolj so tisti spredaj, k ti prpelejo nasproti ali pa cez rdeco v krizisce. Mislim, da tam preti veliko vecja nevarnost kot pa od zadaj.
a ves da ja vcasih, sicer ne vozim za ritjo a sem predvsem bolj toleranten do njih. muzko manj na glas na semaforju itd itd.
Ampak odprl si neskoncno temo, ker imas pa tudi divjake s to nalepko.....

Ni slabo za prvo dirko za na?ega Mihca, se pa bojim da bomo gledali boj superiornih bolidov - Ferrari in Red Bull v prvem razredu in McLaren in Mercedes v drugem...
Ali z drugimi besedami, mercedes ma?ina ni ve? superiorna.......ampak je ?e dolga...
Se je pa za?elo, iz vseh strani kritike, da naj takoj uvedejo ponovno tankaje bencina med dirko, ker se bomo gledalci drugace dolgocasili.
