Description:
This brand new car was run over by an Abrams M1A2 Tank. The tank was taken out of it's shed in the morning and a "No Parking Area" was set-up where the tank would be driving. Unfortunately this area didn't include the area immediately in front of the tank shed. The owner of the RX-8 returned from lunch parking in his usual spot, and went back to work. When the tank was being driven back to the shed the spotter failed to alert the tank driver that he was backing up into the car.
The tank just skimmed along the side of the car and ripped off the side until the tank climbed the fender and crushed the engine. The car was written off after a strange phone call to the owners insurance company and 3 unbelieving supervisors. The tank sustained a dime sized chip on its paint, that may or may not have been there to begin with.
Our next step was to build a powerful, yet reliable machine that could traverse the country cannonball-style. We wanted sound, performance, and of course, style. We looked into motor swaps, custom turbo kits, superchargers, and more. We came to the conclusion that the best bang for the buck would be to run a GReddy turbo kit. This kit comes with all the parts needed for a direct bolt on and includes the ECU. We have already installed several of these kits (see September 2005 issue). To help with performance we choose a JIC titanium cat back mated to a B&B cat delete pipe to give the car a rocket-like sound. The turbo kit does not include a blow off valve so we added an Agency Power one for better turbo spool and sound. To keep the car running cool, we added a PWR aluminum radiator that was attached with Agency Power silicone radiator hoses. The basics of our power plant were now in place.

Ravnokar sem pri?el iz Bolonije kjer smo si ogledali Avto sejem. Ve? slikc po jutri oz. enkrat v bli?nji prihodnosti. Me je pa presenetila MX-5 ki v ?ivo ?e bolj? zgleda kot na slikah, ji delajo krivico
imel si sre?o da nisi neletel na kakega zaje*anega policaja..
lahko bi dobil kazen okoli 100 do 150.000 sit (do 625 eurov) ker po na?em zakonu avto ni
tehni?no izpraven (ker nima? homoplogirano) pa ?e tablice bi ti dol pobrali in lahko poslali na tehni?ni pregled... vse na tvoje stro?ke...
A ni tako da tujemu dr?avljanu tega ne morejo narediti :ne vem: ? Kako pa je potem z vozili iz anglije ki imajo na desni volan, sem jih ?e kar nekaj videl v LJ?

Ne vem ?e bi stock RX3 mustanga zadi pustila ( 1.1 ccm in 105 km)
